About Lehi

Lehi was originally settled by pioneers in 1852, making it the sixth oldest city in the state of Utah. Steeped in Old West history, Lehi may seem like a small town due to its relatively small population of 60,000 residents, but it has actually been deemed as the fifth fastest-growing city in the country.

One of the reasons for this rapid growth is the city's stark transformation from a traditionally agricultural economy to an economy burgeoning with technological enterprises. This transition began with the construction of a microchip plant by Micron Technology. Other technology-based companies have since relocated to Lehi including Intel, Microsoft, and Adobe. These industry giants have ensured Lehi’s stable economy and present plenty of employment options for new residents moving to the area.

There’s definitely no shortage of entertainment in the city of Lehi. Thanksgiving Point draws 1.45 million visitors every year and consists of the Museum of Ancient Life, the Thanksgiving Point Golf Course, Ashton Gardens at Thanksgiving Point, and much more. Diverse entertainment options and a variety of shopping venues make Lehi an excellent place to raise a family.
