Summerlin Meadows

Draper city owns and maintains more than 3,200 acres of open space in the Suncrest and Corner Canyon areas. Because of the city’s proximity to the mountains, it is common to see deer in residential neighborhoods, and there are opportunities to see other local wildlife such as moose, bear, and cougar on the trails. There are over 90 miles of cycling, hiking, and equestrian trails in the area, and Traverse Mountain is a mecca for hang gliders and paragliders. If you need a little practice before you bike the open trails, you can visit the popular Mountain Bike Pocket Park, which features a pump track, skills area, and three flow trails.

In recent years, there has been an explosion of growth in businesses throughout Draper providing a large variety of shopping and dining options. There is plenty of action all throughout the year with sporting activity programs, the arts and crafts festival, classes for the whole family, opportunities to audition for a variety of performances, and activities revolving around the popular Draper Days event.
