Independence at the Point spans 296 acres and consists of approximately 1,900 housing units including single-family homes, townhomes, and apartments. It also includes 27 acres of commercial space. The community features multiple new parks and a trail system. As the name indicates, the project focuses on American patriotism and features street names, park names, and monuments named after America’s values and ideals.
Independence at the Point is a located at the point of the mountain, just south of 14600 South near 500 West. Freeway access is quick and easy, and in the near future, Porter Rockwell Boulevard will connect I-15 to Redwood Road, right through Independence. This diverse community is perfectly situated between Utah County and Salt Lake County, making it an ideal location for commuting to Provo or downtown Salt Lake City, only 24 miles away.
