Copper Ridge is a gorgeous community located just off 13400 South and 6600 West in Herriman. It is perfectly perched on the hillside, overlooking the Salt Lake Valley and featuring breathtaking views of the Wasatch mountain range. In 1849, the goal of Herriman’s founders was to create a place to establish roots, create opportunity, protect diversity, and promote economic development. The city has experienced rapid growth since its incorporation in 1999, climbing from the 11th largest city in Utah, to the 32nd largest in 2010.
One of the reasons for this growth is the abundance of land in the area and the beautiful landscapes surrounding it. To reaffirm the city’s beauty and culture, a garden committee has been established to increase public awareness about establishing and maintaining community gardens. It has a well-established arts council, which promotes theater, visual, and performing arts within the community. All types of shows, pageants, and concerts are scheduled monthly, so there’s always something to do in Herriman!!
