Woods Cross is conveniently located in Davis County between Bountiful and North Salt Lake near the bottom of the Great Salt Lake Basin. The new Woods Crossing development is designed to be a gathering place for residents and will include a variety of retail shops, a waterfall, Smith’s grocery store, and even a clock tower.

Service is very important to the residents of Woods Cross. The Community of Promise organization is a group of individuals who help serve the community through a variety of programs addressing areas such as literacy, gardening, city beautification, preparedness, summer recreation, and city-wide celebrations. There are always opportunities to serve the community or make donations to help improve the city and the lives of its residents. There is something for every age in Woods Cross. Youth who are in 9th through 12th grade are invited to participate in the Youth City Council or work in a summer recreation program.
